A perfect stranger and a random act of kindness! An unexpected gift!
So I've decided to pay it forward today and do something nice for someone I don't know. I've never been a recipient of one of those 'random acts' until yesterday..not that overt of one, anyway and so I'm thankful today on Day 6 for people who think of others on that level and do things like that!
What about you? Have you ever experienced a random act of kindness? Do you think you could show one today? I dare you..

Yes! (And that one @ the restaurant was amazing, by the way!!) I have been blessed to receive many-a-random-act... one that stands out in my mind: last winter (in December), i was walking Marley around my neighborhood. a little silverbullet of a car zoomed past me and then threw on its breaks and made a u-ee in the middle of the road. he cruised up right beside me and said, "i know you!" i had served him jumbalaya at a weekend festival a few months back. i remembered meeting him, but that was all. he got out of his car and we chatted on the sidewalk and he noticed marley was not in the best of health. we talked about it and he said he was going to contact his cousin who was a vet. a few days later, he dropped off $100 and nutritional supplements for Marley at my work. what an amazingly compassionate gesture!
